Our New Home: Introducing the Wander Free and Queer Collective
It’s official: We have a new home on the internet!
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our updated website and the debut of the Wander Free and Queer Collective—a project built from our deep commitment to community, visibility, and supporting fellow queer artists.
Artists, such as LC Cartography and Crafted From Scratch care deeply about the queer community and our natural world. They are both rooted in the foothills of Mt. Hood, using our wild landscape as inspiration for their art. We have had the privilege of working closely with them over the years and are honored to have them as part of our collective.
Why We Built a Collective
Since we started Wander Free and Queer, our mission has always been to share our journey as queer travelers and entrepreneurs, as well as to cultivate a space where LGBTQ+ folks feel seen, inspired, and empowered. We do this through creating content for brands, crafting handmade goods, and cultivating community through hosting events. Over time, this mission has guided us to recognize the deep power in our economic choices as a brand that is based on visibility and inclusion.
Over the past few years, our values have grown stronger, particularly our belief in voting with our dollars. In the current political climate, deciding where to spend your money is a powerful way to stand behind the things that matter most. We made a conscious decision to spend our money at shops and with artists who clearly align with our values and demonstrate unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community.

What is the Collective?
The Wander Free and Queer Collective is our answer to that question. It is a carefully curated, one-stop queer-friendly shopping experience right here on our website.
We started with our own products—the merchandise and fiber art you know and love—but we’ve expanded the shop to host products from other incredible creators. The Collective features goods from artists and small businesses we have come to know and love who show their enthusiastic support for our community.
